About Keynote Speaker: Bob Newart

Bob Newhart is a nationally recognized comedian known for his deadpan delivery and routines including The Driving Instructor, Sir Walter Raleigh and The Submarine Commander. His comedy albums have become international best sellers and he still performs to sell-out crowds all over the country.

After gaining prominence in the comedy world, Newhart entered acting. He starred in The Bob Newhart Show as Dr. Bob Hartley and later in Newhart as innkeeper Dick Loudon. Newhart has also made numerous other television appearances on shows including The Simpsons, MADtv, NCIS, The Librarian and The Big Bang Theory. Newhart is also a prolific film actor, appearing in 14 feature films including Catch-22, Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde and Elf.

Newhart is an Oak Park native and devoted Chicago Cubs fan.
