Give the Greatest Gift......

                                     The gift of your time.

As always, The Salvation Army needs holiday bell-ringers to share their time and passion for the benefit of their communities.  But did you know The Salvation Army has countless other volunteer opportunities as well?

You Could:

  • Volunteer in a soup kitchen or food pantry
  • Help nurture children in character-building youth programs
  • come to the aid of disaster victims
  • visit the elderly in nursing homes
  • ......and so much more!
  • Make a meal for kids during the Thursday evening "Character Building" program.  Give Brent a call!

The Salvation Army can provide so much more when it joins forces with people who share its mission and have the resources needed to take its work one step further.

Whether you are a private citizen, business owner, school administrator, religious leader or director of a community group, you'll find there are many ways to support The Salvation Army, Midland Corps.

Perhaps it means giving hours of volunteer help, donating in-kind gifts, making cash contributions or assisting

with disaster services. Your help creates a partnership between you and The Salvation Army.

If you need assistance with volunteering or for more information please contact The Salvation Army, Midland Corps office:  (989)496-2787 or      It's a great opportunity to help out, and really MAKE A DIFFERENCE!  We're always looking for people who are interested in supporting our Emergency Workers, like the Police, Firefighters and the Midland County Search and Rescue Team.  We provide food and water and warming stations (in the Winter) for emergency workers.   We also support a lot of community events like the Dow Run/Walk, and the Great Lakes Bay Marathon, and the Fun Zone Rebuild Project. If you'd like to be a part of our Emergency Disaster Services Canteen Team, please give Brent a call.  We have our Canteen - our mobile kitchen-on-wheels to deliver hot food, coffee, and water to those who keep us all safe and do great things for our community.  Let's support them!
