Salvation Army Serving in Northeast Nebraska After Twin Tornadoes on Monday
The Salvation Army’s Emergency Disaster Services (EDS) teams are mobilized on the scene in northeast Nebraska today, after deadly twin twisters – spinning about a mile a part – wreaked havoc on the farming communities of Stanton, Cuming and Wayne Counties on Monday night.
The teams, from Norfolk and Lincoln, are currently providing food, beverage and spiritual support to survivors and first responders with support from nearby Omaha and Sioux City, IA.
Monetary donations are the most critical need as supplies and personnel are mobilized.
