Monthly Senior Care Days
The Salvation Army - Elkhart is now offering monthly Senior Care Days for those age 55+ featuring free services. Our February event will be Wednesday, February 21 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Free personal care services from local vendors and agencies will be offered. Services include blood pressure and A1C checks by Heart City Health, mini massages by Sheron, haircuts and nail care. Perdue Extension will have a presentation on living with Diabetes. Resource tables will be manned by representatives from SHIP, Humana, and Heart City Health. A lunch will be served at 12:00 pm followed by BINGO. This event is open to all seniors age 55+. There is no cost to attend. Senior Care Days have been implemented as part of Elkhart Salvation Army’s initiative to offer more services to senior citizens in our community.
