How we help empower youth

Our programs for youth provide enrichment experiences in the Fulton Heights Neighborhood.

The GROW After-School Program serves youth in grades K - 5 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 3:30 pm - 6 pm. Walking pick-up is offered from Living Stones Academy and William C. Abney Elementary.

GROW Summer Day Camp
The GROW Summer Day Camp offers a 6-week day camp program for 1st- 7th grade students during the summer break months of June and July. Activities offered include group physical exercise, indoor and outdoor games, crafts, learning activities, reading times, and a bible lesson. Each day includes lunch and a snack.

Music Meal - On Wednesdays at 5 pm, we provide a meal for children and adults engaged in the music programs that evening. Please RSVP 616-454-1459.

Junior Choir
On Wednesdays at 5:45 pm, children learn to improve their singing voices and projection while learning music that they are able to perform at planned community events.  The Junior Choir is open to children, K-8.  For more information, please call the office: 616-454-1459.

Character-Building
On Wednesdays at 6:15 pm, children in K-8 are able to participate in character-building programs and earn certificates in different subject areas. In 2022-2023, the children earned badges in Legos, Christmas Tradition and Art.  Currently, they are working on a Drama badge that includes making costumes, props, sets - as well as rehearsing a short play.  For more information, please call the office: 616-454-1459
