Kicking Off the Christmas Season
The Salvation Army Corps of both Elkhart and Goshen are excited to launch the 2023 Elkhart County-Wide Christmas Campaign on Wednesday, November 01, 2023, at the Elkhart Salvation Army Corps Community Center.
Refreshments will be served starting at 10:45 am. Beginning at 11:00 am, the Kettle-Kickoff program will feature local dignitaries and Salvation Army leaders speaking of The Army’s mission and impact and acknowledging the support of community businesses and members.
The 2023 campaign goal will also be announced. Although the iconic Red Kettles have evolved over the years, they still continue to represent The Salvation Army’s major fundraising event of the year, with all proceeds supporting year-round programs and emergency assistance benefiting those in need in Elkhart County.
Along with cash, donors will also be able to donate using a QR code, and at limited kettle sites, a Tip Tap machine that allows you to “tap” your debit or credit card for one of the preset donation amounts.
Again, this year, The Salvation Army is looking for businesses and individuals to be kettle sponsors and matching gift donors which are used to challenge and motivate others to give at our kettle locations throughout the county.
