Majors Hansen Retirement is February 2019
They were Corps Officers in Grand Haven 1995-2000
Their Retirement Ceremony will be February 16th at the Grand Rapids Kroc Center

Join our 11:00AM Church Service.
Our Building Project at this time is on hold awaiting approval at our Territorial Headquarters.
Men's Prayer Breakfast is Saturday October 13th on the lower level at Church at 8:00AM.
Sewing Sisters meets each Wednesday at 9:00AM.
We are getting ready for the Christmas Season which includes:
- Winter Coat Distribution
- Toy Distribution - See Sarah Coyle to assist with this important activity. December 18th
- Food Cards Distribution
- Bell Ringing - See Jay to sign up for a time to ring.
- Nursing Home Visitation - See Wendy Jobin if your would like to assist in this vital ministry. November 14th
- D&W Christmas Season Concerts
Mission Offering for East Kenya is every last Sunday of the month. Thank you for giving to help others in need overseas.

Barbara Coy - In Mercy Hospital currently Room #314 but may be released soon. She has infection & heart issues.
D&W Fresh Market First Friday of the Month Dances are still going strong. Feel free to stop by at listen to some great music. 7:00pm-10:00pm
November 3rd evening we change our clocks - Fall Back One Hour!
November 6th is Election Day - Remember to Vote!
November 11th is Veterans Day - Thank a veteran for their service! Veterans Day will be observed November 12th Monday this year!
November 15th is Soup For All at St Pats Catholic Church - Some of the moneys raised go to your Salvation Army to help others.
November 16th Bell Ringing Starts
Every third Sunday at 2:30PM we have a church service for residents at Robbinswood Assisted Living Center.
We always have a great time.
Volunteers are always welcome to join us for this 30 minutes of singing and encouraging the residents.
November 22nd is Thanksgiving - Read Psalm 103 and Psalm 100
Our Prayer Room near our Chapel Foyer is often open for prayer during office hours.
Feel free to spend time praying, meditating, reading and spending time in contemplation.
Friday November 30th The Griffins in Grand Rapids will be playing to benefit The Salvation Army.
December 2nd is the First Sunday of the Advent Season - This year for Advent we focus on JESUS in the Gospel of John (John 1)
As we teach & preach we often read from the New Living Translation.
If you do not have a copy of this easy to read version please see me and I will give you a free copy.

Joanne Hodges called and she arrived in Florida and is doing well. Her home sold in Michigan.
Pat Palen sold her home in Michigan and is now living in the Carolinas. In Summerville SC.

Sunday School - Our Adult Class continues its study of "God Calling His People" - The Israelites, We are looking at the books of Leviticus, Numbers & Deuteronomy in October & November.
Church Services - October 14th at 11:00AM we are continuing our series in the "Book of Acts" in Chapter 21 entitled "A Jesus Style Congregation"
