Our Doors Are Always Open
Sometimes life doesn’t turn out how we planned. An unexpected job loss, medical debt, or even a fire might be the reason that someone becomes homeless or is at-risk of losing their home. Our emergency, transitional or permanent housing options across the Midwest can help. At The Salvation Army, we have an open door policy when it comes to those needing help with housing - whether they need a place to rest their head inside our doors or need help finding a way to stay in their own home. All are welcome, and every night, we help thousands of men, women, youth and children sleep safely. We also look at the whole individual and situation to help them dream of a better tomorrow.
Family Housing
The Salvation Army of Grand Haven is helping meet the needs of families by providing emergency and transitional housing for those in the community.
Utility and Emergency Assistance
The Salvation Army provides assistance in many areas, including rent and utilities. Please contact our offices at 616-842-3380 during office hours if you are in need of help.
