At the core of all we do, fighting for our youth is a primary drive to share God's grace.    

RED SHIELD CENTER Activities (ages 4-14)

We believe participating in a variety of activities helps kids gain confidence and skills to take them far in life! Our Red Shield Center Sessions are made up of 7 weeks of 60 minute activities (with the exception of Lego Robotics). Cost: $10 registration fee per child. 

Red Shield Center Fall Session: Thursdays, September 15- October 27

Moonbeams (Craft/Game/Activities): Thursdays, 4:00 PM; Ages 4-8

Guitar (beginner lessons): Thursdays, 4:00 PM; Ages 7-14

Archery: Thursdays, 4:00 PM Beginner, 5:00 PM Competitive; Ages 8-14

Lego Robotics: Thursdays, 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM*; ages 8-14    *2 hour activity

*NEW* Air Rifle: Thursdays, 4:00 PM & 5:00 PM; ages 8-15

SUMMER CAMP: Little Pine Island

Kids can enjoy faith-based fun at The Salvation Army's Little Pine Island Camp (Comstock Park). These overnight camps include outdoor adventures like: swimming, hiking, fishing, ziplines, campfires, etc. Some camps include sports or music training. Low Cost. Transportation available.

Summer Camp Schedule:

Jr. Adventure: June 14-17, grades 1-5 (completed)

Music*: June 18-25, ages 9-17 (completed, max. age 17), *vocal, band percussion; beginners welcome!

Sports: June 28-July 1, grades 6-12 (completed, max. age 17)

Mini Mites: July 5-7, grades K-3 (completed)

Jr. Sports: July 11-14, grades 1-5 (completed)

Adventure: July 18-22, grades 6-12 (completed, max. age 17)

Required forms: Download these documents and email them to us at wmiholland@usc.salvationarmy.org: Camper application, cell phone policy agreement form, camper Covid-19 form Summer Camp Forms. Also email a copy of your health insurance/Medicaid and immunization record (for each camper).
