Our Facilities

The Great Lakes Center provides 18,000 square feet of versatile conference and reception space and is equipped with heat and air conditioning. The Center is made up of three different spaces: Dining Room, Hall, and Activity Room and can be rented in its entirety or by individual space(s). The Great Lakes Center Dining Room has a vaulted ceiling, gas fireplace, drop down presentation screen, simple sound system, large wrap around deck, and the best view of Little Pine Island Lake.

The Great Lake Dining Room seats up to 200 guests theatre style or 160 guests with tables and chairs. When combined with the Great Lakes Center Hall, seating increases to 300 guests theatre style or 250 guests with tables and chairs.          

The Great Lakes Center Hall has an open floor with moveable walls. The Hall can be one big room or separated into as many as four small rooms which are great for breakout sessions. The Hall seats up to 100 guests theatre style or 80 guests with tables and chairs. There are four Smart TVs available for use, one in each corner. Also, each side of the Hall has a counter, sink, and whiteboard.

The Great Lakes Center Activity Room has an open floor with foosball, air hockey, and ping pong tables available for use. The Activity Room seats up to 180 guests theatre style or 110 guests with tables and chairs. Also, there is a counter, sink and whiteboard.

    

    

Little Pine Island Camp & Retreat Center’s flagship residence is as beautiful inside as it is on the outside. With 16 individual guest rooms, separate men’s and women’s facilities, dining and exquisite meeting room, the “Lodge” is perfect for overnight retreats or day seminars. If comfort and convenience are the key, you can have both in this serene setting. Little Pines Lodge is equipped with heat and air conditioning.

Little Pines Lodge Great Room

Little Pines Lodge Great Room is an open room with a vaulted ceiling. It has cushioned lounge furniture, a fireplace, Smart TV with surround sound, keyboard, and whiteboard (available upon request). There is a relaxing view of Little Pine Island Lake and a deck just outside for soaking up the sun. Conference tables and padded folding chairs are also available for additional set up needs.

    

Little Pines Lodge Bedrooms

  Little Pines Lodge can sleep up to 44-46 guests. There are 16 bedrooms split up between two wings. Each bedroom has a nightstand and a wall of shelves providing plenty of storage for personal items. Fourteen of the bedrooms each hold a bunkbed and a twin bed. Two of the bedrooms each have a queen bed. There are separate men’s and women’s dorm style restrooms each with four showers.

   

    

Little Pines Lodge Dining Room

Little Pines Lodge Dining Room has a refrigerator/freezer, range, microwave, two 12-cup coffee pots, a separate refrigerator, counter space, toaster and cupboard space. The Lodge’s Dining Room can seat up to 46 guests with tables and chairs.

    

Cedar Lodge has a cathedral ceiling with cedar log trusses. It is an open space with kitchenette, restrooms, and a small Smart TV. The kitchenette has two refrigerator/freezers, a range, microwave, coffee pot, toaster, counter space and cupboard space. Cedar Lodge can seat up to 40 guests with tables and chairs.  

    

     

Michigan and Indiana Dorms are mirror images of each other. Each dorm sleeps up to 16 guests. Each dorm has a small living room, four bedrooms, and a dorm style restroom with two showers. Each bedroom has two bunkbeds. Each living room has lounge seating for up to 10 guests..

    

   

There are eight bunkhouse style cabins equipped with full restrooms. The main room sleeps up to 20 guests in 10 bunkbeds. The counselor room sleeps up to 2 guests in one bunkbed. The restroom has two showers. All eight camper cabins are equipped with heat.

Bunkhouse is the most rustic building on camp. With 10 bedrooms sleeping a total of 49 guests it is perfect for overflow lodging needs. Room 1 provides stand-alone lodging for one person. The rest of the rooms are sectioned into 3-room suites with 2-3 bunk beds in each room. Each room also contains a private commode and sink. Showers are located at the center of the building. Bunkhouse is equipped with heat.

    

    

Town Hall has an open floor, stage, fireplace, Smart TV and seating for up to 160 guests theatre style.

Lakeview has an open floor, platform, restrooms, and can seat up to 160 guests theatre style. It is also equipped with heat and air conditioning.

Little Pine Island has plenty of space to relax and enjoy the outdoors! A lakeside playground is fun for kids, while our high and low challenge course* is a challenge for all ages. We have a large athletic field that is great for baseball, soccer and other outdoor activities, plus a waterfront* equipped with paddleboats and canoes.

*Use of challenge course and waterfront must be arranged in advance.

    

    

VanHaitsma Pavilion has an open floor, fireplace, and great view of Little Pine Island Lake. The Pavilion can seat up to 250 guests theatre style or 80 guests with picnic tables. With the playground next door, the Pavilion is a great space for events with all ages.

 

Meal Planning

Each of the overnight facilities (Little Pine’s Lodge and Hilltop Campus) offers guests a full kitchen. You must provide your own food, pots and pans, plates, cups, cutlery, paper, etc. If guests are interested in having Little Pine Island Camp staff provide food, we will serve you in the Great Lakes Dining Room for an additional fee. Consider the following information when booking an event:

  • Fees for food service vary widely. We encourage you to contact us so you know the options available to you.
  • downloadable menu is available as you may choose what we serve you.

Food Service Policies

There is a 50 person minimum for a three meal option, 75 for two meals, and 100 person for one meal.

You must submit an exact number of persons we will be serving at least 14 days before the first meal is served. This allows us to order the food in a timely manner. The menu should also be submitted at least by this time.

Meal times for contracted service are:

  • Breakfast 8:00 -8:45 a.m.
  • Brunch 10:30 – 11:15 a.m.,
  • Lunch 12:30 – 1:15 p.m.,
  • Dinner 5:30 – 6:15 p.m.
  • Late Supper or Snack Service 9:00 p.m.

If you desire to have meals at alternative times, you must contact the Assistant Camp Director.
