New trucks ready for rollout
On Wednesday, May 14, a ribbon-cutting ceremony marked the launch of three new food trucks for The Salvation Army, made possible through donations from Ford Philanthropy and The Artichoke Garlic Foundation.
Mary Culler, president of Ford Philanthropy, highlighted the organization's long-standing commitment: “For three decades, we’ve provided trucks and volunteers to help make a difference in our community.”
Dan Aronson of The Artichoke Garlic Foundation emphasized the importance of the Bed and Bread program: “We’ve been involved since the early 2000s. It’s an incredible cause—providing consistent, daily support to those in need aligns perfectly with our mission.”
The new state-of-the-art food trucks support The Salvation Army’s mission to fight hunger, with each truck capable of serving up to 1,500 warm, nutritious meals.
