Meet the Speakers
Phil Purcell, CFRE, MPA/JD, Director of Planned Giving for The Salvation Army-Central Territory, Phil is an Attorney with 30+ years experience in Charitable and estate planning. He is a member of the Indiana and American Bar Associations. Phil has taught the law of philanthropy, law of nonprofit organizations and planned giving for the Indiana University Maurer School of Law, Lilly School of Philanthropy and The Fundraising School for twenty years. He joined The Salvation Army in 2020 because he is inspired by The Salvation Army's faith-filled Christian mission and wants to do all that he can to assist those in need.
Todd Holsopple is an Everence® Trust and Charitable Advisor in Goshen, Indiana. During his 20 years at Everence, he has enjoyed client interaction and working with institutions and organizations. He has been able to help others identify and grow charitable giving opportunities. Todd graduated from Goshen College with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Before working at Everence, he worked in manufacturing and banking.
