Porter County Receives $10,000 Grant from Glick Philanthropies Community Relief Fund

Jun 26, 2024

Inflation continues to place undue hardship on our communities, and we are committed to reducing the burden. That’s why Glick Philanthropies – a family of charitable initiatives dedicated to building community and creating opportunity – made a $10,000 contribution to The Salvation Army Porter County through the Glick Community Relief Fund. This program helps nonprofit organizations provide individuals, families, and communities with access to basic needs, such as food access, transportation, utility assistance, and mental health support. Quoted from Captain Jim:

"We will use this additional support to continue funding for our food pantry and provide holiday food assistance boxes for elders and low income families. Many families are in need of food assistance in this area and this helps continue our mission."
