Sometimes we forget that God is not only “up there” in heaven, but also right here with us in our everyday lives and in our very hearts, minds and souls. As Paul reminded the early Christians in the Book of Acts, “God intended that [we] would seek Him and perhaps reach out for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us. ‘For in Him we live and move and have our being’” (Acts 17:27-28). Let us give thanks for our God, who delights to be with us. Amen.
