The Salvation Army helps cure hunger by making a food pantry available to neighbors in need.

in 2022-5559 total persons served, 1731 groceries given

Ours is a monthly Food Pantry that we currently operate pull up style. We have a printed list of area food pantry's to give clients in need throughout the month in addition to occasionally providing emergency food assistance when needed. It is the desire the none of our Madison County residents go hungry and do all we can between ours and other local pantry and meal kitchen to ensure that.

How we help cure hunger

By utilizing our Food Pantry on the 2nd Tuesday of each month, residents can make their meals go a little further. In Madison County, several agencies and churches work together to ensure food stability. We utilize this program through our Pathway of Hope Program also. During the months of November and December we try to make the holidays special with a Thanksgiving and Christmas Food Basket. There is also our Adopt-A-Family Program which gives people in the community to add a little extra for a few of these families.
