Encouragement and Development for Youth
Approximately 12 percent of kids in Beatrice live below the federal poverty level.
This means they often don't have access to the same educational and creative opportunities of their more privileged peers. Our
character-building programs introduce kids and teens to new, enriching experiences that broaden their worlds.
How We Help Empower Youth
We provide a safe space, positive adult mentors and programs that build the character, enrich the minds and spark the creativity of young children and teens alike.
Club 3:16 | Wednesdays during the school year at 5:30 p.m. (including dinner)
Our Club 3:16 invites kids and teens from kindergarten through 12th grades to participate in character building classes, offering them the opportunity to develop strong communication and leadership skills, grow their minds, and explore God's Word, all while having fun and connecting with their peers. Classes include:
- Moonbeams - girls and boys in kindergarten
- Sunbeams - girls in first through fifth grades
- Girl Guards - girls in sixth through 12th grades
- Explorers - boys in first through fifth grades
- Rangers - boys in sixth through 12th grades
