Smiles Make the Greatest Gifts

Providing physical needs such as grocery, utility and gift assistance,
to emotional experiences including holiday events and traditions.

Many Bloomington parents cannot afford to buy their kids Christmas presents.

You can help by sponsoring an Angel Tree at your church, office or book club or simply adopt an angel tag on your own.

Do what you can.  Helps us will make sure each child gets clothing and toys.

The Salvation Army's mission shines brightest at Christmas time.

The Salvation Army celebrates the birth of Christ by spreading His hope, love and joy to the less fortunate members of society. In fact, our gift-giving programs and fundraising initiatives are a direct answer to God's calling to care for the poor, hungry, sick, and displaced.

Last Chance  applications for gift assistance will be Friday Nov. 8, 2019

Parents or guardians of children newborn through age 13 need to come to the Salvation Army Community Center between 9 am and 3:45 pm Fri. (closed from 12-1 for lunch)

Required documentation for application:  Current State issued ID for head of household, Birth Certificates for each child in the household, Proof of household income for the past 30 days ie. pay stubs, TANF or Child Support printout, SNAP award letter, VA or Social Security award letter or current bank statement if direct deposit.

Applicants will be screened with other agencies providing holiday assistance to avoid duplication of services.
