Chilton Food Pantry Pickup Changes

Bread of Life Assistance Center Changes Effective Tuesday, March 24, 2020

These changes are being made in response to the COVID-19 Coronavirus in an effort to safeguard the health of our volunteers and families who visit.

Until further notice, clients coming to the pantry for food and hygiene supplies will not come inside - you will be greeted by a volunteer at the door who will collect your information and then bring your supplies to you. Please be prepared to show identification as normal. IMPORTANT - observe social distancing while you wait - stay 6 feet away from volunteers and other pantry clients. Please leave children at home or have them wait in the car if it is safe to do so.

If you or someone else in your household is sick, you should stay home and send someone who does not live with you to pick up on your behalf. If you are a current client, please call the pantry a day in advance to let us know who will be picking up. 920-849-7856

Hours of operation at this time are unchanged. We are open Monday 3-6 pm, and Tuesday through Thursday 8:30-11:30 am. Any changes will be announced on the Center’s phone messaging system and Facebook page.

New individuals and families are welcome!  Food pantry eligibility rules for families and individuals follow federal guidelines for The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP). At this time of need, eligibility has been expanded, and is based on weekly gross income less than 300% of the federal poverty rate. Click to view TEFAP Income Guidelines.

Walk-in donations of food and hygiene supplies are still being accepted or can be made by appointment.  All other donations can mailed to The Salvation Army Bread of Life Assistance Center, 16 W Main Street, Chilton, WI 53014.

If you have questions, please call 920-849-7856.
