The Neighborhood!

Building Community for Your Future in Christ and at Centerpoint Church!

Our membership process is called "The Neighborhood" because everyone wants to know and be known in our community of faith. It is a 4-week class offered every other month in which we invite new guests of Centerpoint Church to grow their relationship with Christ. Each session entails a 1-2-hour commitment. Classes are held after worship service on Sundays.

Week 1 – Phase 1: Concept & Design – Centerpoint Church will meet with for casual conversation over a light lunch. This is a dedicated time of getting to know one another. During this session we’ll also discuss Centerpoint’s mission, vision, core values and beliefs.

Week 2 – Phase 2: Firm Foundations – In this session we’ll lay the groundwork and infrastructure that will enable you to get better acquainted with the Bible and grow your understanding of the life and work of Jesus Christ. We’ll also explore and answer your questions about faith, talk about what generosity looks like and discuss membership and serving in ministry and community.

Week 3 – Phase 3: Constructing Community – In this session we’ll explore the results of your personal assessment and a spiritual gifts inventory and dig more deeply into Centerpoint’s statements of faith. We’ll also look at various service opportunities, including Pathway of Hope, community service and seasonal service such as bellringing and assembling Christmas baskets. You’ll discover that fulfilling and meaningful community awaits you as you grow in your relationship with Christ, the Bible and with other followers of Jesus.

Week 4 – Phase 4: Open House Celebration!!
