Stuff The Bus
Back-to-school season should be an exciting time, but for many families, the rising cost of supplies adds extra stress. That’s why The Salvation Army of Central Indiana is gearing up to host “Stuff the Bus” events at participating Walmart stores making it easy for shoppers to give local students a strong start to the school year.
Dates, times and participating Walmart Locations:
July 3rd from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. at 7245 US-31 Indianapolis, IN 46227
July 15th from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. at 3221 W 86th St. Indianapolis, IN 46268
August 9th from 12 p.m. – 4 p.m. at 2001 E 151st St. Carmel, IN 46032
Walmart shoppers can grab a few extra school supplies and drop them in The Salvation Army collection bins right at the front of the store. Every donation helps a child in Central Indiana head back to class with confidence. All school supplies collected during the campaign will stay in the local community, directly benefiting hundreds of students in Central Indiana.

- Spiral college-ruled notebooks
- Pens & Pencils
- Crayons
- Pencil pouches or boxes
- Scissors
- Erasers
- Backpacks
