Brightening The Holidays

At The Salvation Army, we want to ensure that no family is "left behind" during the Holidays. Thanks to the generosity of our community and business partners, we are able to offer our seasonal programs to make the season a little brighter for those in need.

Meeting The Need this Holiday Season

Each year, The Salvation Army provides Holiday assistance to families in need. This includes helping place presents under the tree, paying bills and providing shelter for those without a home.

How we help brighten the holidays

Program descriptions below.

Toy Town

Through the generosity of our community, we are able to assist families who may need help in placing presents under the tree, helping lift the burden they've experienced due to financial hardships. Through our Toy Town program, parents are asked to put in an application either online or in person, fill out a wish list for their child/children and they will pick up their gifts during our contactless toy distribution from December 15th - December 18th.

Businesses that are interested in helping a family in need can Adopt a Family by shopping for holiday presents for an entire household. The business will provide us with a family size and age range they are willing to help and we match them with a family, a wonderful way to make the holidays bright for those in need, lifting them up during this special time.

Circle of Care

Through our Circle of Care senior program, we visit seniors that live in low-income housing senior complexes and provide them with gifts and food vouchers during the holidays, along with a visit from the Majors and some of our volunteers, another way we lift up our neighbors and make the holidays bright during this special time.
