ESL Classes & Tutoring (English as a second language)

Basic English for Non-Native Speakers (open entry)

The Salvation Army partners with Parkland College Adult Education to provide free multicultural English as a Second Language (ESL) classes and tutoring for people living in the U.S. (see note below). The program helps improve basic English reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills for non-native English speakers. Classes are assigned based on English-language assessment tests.
