The Weekly Word - A Devotion for the Week of August 30

Aug 27, 2021

We all experience times in our lives when we feel like we have lost our way, times when we feel like we are walking in what the prophet Ezekiel called the valley of dry bones (Ezekiel 37:1-10). We feel dead inside, and when we look around, it seems that death and darkness surround us too. Ezekiel reminds us that God breathes life even into the darkest, most hopeless parts of us. He can – and He will – breathe life into our parched souls. He can – and He will – bring us to life again. All He asks is that we trust Him and trust His love for us.
