Make a Difference with Every Ring
Volunteers ring a bell at a Salvation Army kettle every day from mid-November through Christmas Eve, knowing their smiles and warm greetings encourage passersby to give more generously. By giving their time, more coins and bills are dropped in the kettle, and more people in need will be helped in our local community.
Bell ringers are the difference between an empty kettle and one that raises the funds to sustain our programs all year long. The Salvation Army relies on money raised in red kettles to serve more than 25 million people in need in the U.S. every year.
