Step 4 - Additional Resources
Due to the volume of applications that we receive, it can take a minimum of three (3) to six (6) weeks to receive an Appointment Eligibility Email.
General Financial Assistance (Housing - to prevent eviction; Utilities - to prevent disconnection)
Guidelines:
- Communicate with your landlord/mortgage company or utility vendor to see if you can work out a payment plan or get an extension. Let them know what's going on and why you need the payment plan or extension.
- Go to your local Township Trustee to seek assistance. You can call 211 Connect2Help to find out who your local Township Trustee is and obtain their address and telephone number.
- Be prepared to provide proof of your financial need, and to follow all instructions or agreements.
- If you still need assistance after doing the above, fill out our online application to get on our waiting list and start calling the additional resources listed below.
