The holidays are almost here and many that we serve are still struggling with pandemic poverty, living paycheck to paycheck and making the tough decisions of what bills to pay and which ones to postpone. A number of those we serve are struggling to stay in their homes during the holidays and look to us for help. YOU can help us help the most vulnerable in our communities and give them HOPE by donating to our Design-A-Kettle Challenge this holiday season.
The Design-A-Kettle Campaign is part of our annual Red Kettle Campaign and is our most important fundraiser to ensure that “Hope Marches On” for those in need. Design-A-Kettle is a fun way for community groups to get involved and help us raise funds “virtually” and to show their creativity in decorating one of our iconic kettles and stand.
It is simple to get involved. Just determine which kettle you like the most from the list below, click on that link and make your donation. Any size gift is welcome and every dollar raised stays with our local Corps.
The Design-A-Kettle Challenge kicks off November 22nd through December 23rd at noon. Captain Forney will do a Facebook introduction of this year’s participants and announce the winner of this year’s challenge on Facebook December 24th. The winner will be the entry that raises the most money and receive the Design-A-Kettle Golden Kettle Trophy.
On behalf of all those we serve, thank you for your help to ensure “HOPE MARCHES ON”. All donations are tax deductible.
If you, your group or business would like to help us ring the bells this Christmas season, we could use your help! We have locations in multiple communities. For more information go to RegistertoRing.com and put in zipcode 60120 to find the opportunities in our service area.
