Red Wings for Red Kettles

Dec 9, 2014 | by Dave Hudgens

Continuing a Red Kettle Campaign tradition, Detroit Red Wings players and staff will served as red kettle bell ringers at four metro Detroit retail locations, competing against each other to see who could raise the most money to help those in need. This was the ninth consecutive year the Detroit Red Wings and The Salvation Army have teamed up for “Red Wings for Red Kettles” to help reach the $9 million 2014 Red Kettle Campaign goal. This initiative has raised more than $82,000 since 2005. Autographs were available at all locations for a suggested $10 donation. Thank you to the Detroit Red Wings and to all of the Metro Detroiters who gave at the Red Kettles!
