Thank You To All Our Supporters for Making Our Giving Tuesday Successful!

Dec 2, 2020

To everyone who supported us on Giving Tuesday, we want to say THANK YOU! Whether it was by enjoying Michael W. Smith’s concert with matching donations provided by Thrivent Financial and Pizza With a Purpose from the Royal Park Hotel, tuning in to our media blitz with this year's Red Kettle Corporate Chair Herman Moore and Regional President of Southeast Michigan TCF Bank, Jim Robinson, donating online, or putting a dollar in a kettle, you helped us Rescue Christmas for those in need this holiday season.

We are so touched by the support and the words of encouragement from those who gave. Here are just a few comments that we so appreciated:

“My Uncle George said The Salvation Army saved his life during WWII. I will always remember that!”
“Thank you for all you do to serve the Lord and help people. We appreciate you so much!”
“Hope this can help someone who is less fortunate than I am.”
“God bless you in your work of mercy to those in need!”

And finally, a big thank you to TCF Bank, whose matching gift allowed donors to double the impact of their gift. We are overjoyed to report that we exceeded our fundraising goal of $60,000! Our work is not possible without the support of our community partners and countless generous supporters like you!

If you're looking to partner with The Salvation Army the way TCF Bank, Royal Park Hotel, and Thrivent have, please reach out to us by contacting Christina Gallop at christina.gallop@usc.salvationarmy.org or (248) 443-5500 ext 316.
