****UPDATE**** Our event is over and was a huge success! We are still counting donations, but we have topped the 5,000 mark for sure. That means we will be close to a total of 10,000 school items collected for local teachers and students!!! Thank you to Walmart, Teacher Locker, the volunteers, the employees, and most importantly all of the walmart shoppers that took the time and resources to donate!

The Salvation Army and Walmart are teaming up to help collect school supplies for distribution by Teachers Locker to local teachers and schools. A backpack, notebook, pencil, or binder are more than just school supplies for a student. They help create the confidence and preparedness kids need to succeed in school.  Now through August 7 you can make a difference for a Hoosier child in need!

Here are three easy ways you can help:

  • Donate in-store 8/6 - 8/7 by visiting your local Walmart. (See below for a list of suggested items)
  • Purchase supplies directly from our Registry for Good
  • Scroll down and donte online through our red donation button
