Our programs are made possible because of generous donors that give back to their communities in a variety of ways.
As most facilities shut down during this pandemic, we found ourselves in a completely opposite situation, as our need increased a record-breaking 1,446% for emergency food, housing, and clothing services.
Our location provides basic needs for over 10,000 individuals in Allen Co. annually.
However, In three months, Allen Co. Salvation Army assisted over 17,000 individuals. We packed roughly 600 boxes weekly with our skeleton crew of only 8 staff members, each box containing roughly 10 pounds of food.
