How we help brighten the holidays

Red Kettle Campaign
Starting in November you will see the red kettles out at stores collecting money to support the many programs we offer year round as we serve the community through food pantries, financial assistance, youth programs, senior living, drug addiction, homelessness, and more. Volunteers can sign up to ring the bell to encourage others to give, knowing every time money is dropped in the bucket their donation is being used to continue the mission of The Salvation Army in our community. Sign up today to ring the bells at RegistertoRing.com and choose your favorite location and available timeslots that work with your schedule.

Virtual Red Kettle Campaign:
Due to COVID-19 we are taking every precaution necessary to keep you safe, this means we are offering you an exciting opportunity to be a virtual bell ringer. You can help raise funds to support The Salvation Army's programs and services by supporting out online red kettle, or starting your own here:

Angel Tree
Every year The Salvation Army in Indianapolis comes together to make sure that every child in the metropolitan area has a coat for the winter as well as new clothes and toys to open on Christmas morning. Registration for these events begin in the fall and end in October.

You can also get involved by adopting an angel and providing Christmas gifts to a child in need. Angels are placed around the city to make it easy for them to be adopted. We make sure that the gifts you provide are given to the Angel you selected. Angels are children 12 and under who come from low-income families that struggle to make Christmas happen.

Christmas Worship Service
Christmas is a time to spend with friends and family to share our love and appreciation for each other and for the gift of Jesus. Our church is a family! As brothers and sisters in Christ, we gather together in celebration of Jesus' birthday and share in a time of inter-generational fellowship and worship. This service is family-friendly and is held at our regular worship time on Sunday morning.

Senior Christmas Luncheon
Every Christmas the Older Adult Christmas Luncheon provides an opportunity for senior citizens to gather together around a dinner table creating moments of encouragement, laughter, support, and love. The holidays can be especially hard for those that have lost a loved one or do not live close to loved ones. By supporting the Older Adult Christmas Luncheon you are letting the seniors in the community know they are not forgotten and are loved in a time when they need it most.
