A Message From The Major

Dear Fox Cities Area Community,

This past year, I have witnessed so many recipients at the Salvation Army. At Christmas time, toys, coats and food are popular needs. Other times of the year, counseling and housing troubles abound. In the day care, I see children cry for many reasons. Some are hungry, others are sleepy. Comfort and love are so important. 
Thank you to all of our donors and volunteers who donated their time and/or donations to benefit the disadvantaged in our local community. Because of your time and/or donations, the Salvation Army was able to help thousands of families, children, and elderly experience a joyful Christmas this year. 
Additionally, because need knows no season, The Salvation Army Fox Cities is able to continue to support our all-year round programs such as housing services, emergency food pantry, and noon meal lunch program.
The Salvation Army Fox Cities wants to also express our deep appreciation for those organizations, and individuals for providing toys and items for the underprivileged children in our community for 2019. You have blessed them and allowed them to experience the love of God and the joy of Christmas in a very special way.
The Toy Shop and Adopt-A-Family programs allows The Salvation Army to help disadvantaged children and families, and serve our community. We could not effectively do this without your support.

The Journey of Your Dollar (JOYD)

It is important that the supporters of the Salvation Army understand exactly where and how donated money is being used here in the Fox Cities community. From the security of housing, counseling on life skills, a nutritious meal every day of the week, celebrating recovery from addiction, comfort over the holiday season, providing warm jackets, and supplying food for the home to individuals/families - all who have had different journeys in their life. It all starts with your dollar to help.
