Gail worked one on one with her case manager and after forming a trusting relationship she was able to meet the goal of finding permanent housing. Gail had been homeless for 4 years before coming to Grace Place and she said, about her case manager, "If I felt overwhelmed, she was there to listen." Case managers set goals and encourage success while connecting with resources in the community on an individual basis while a person stays at Grace Place.

Family Meals and Fellowship: Evening meals are a time for fellowship and giving thanks for all of our blessings. Volunteer organizations and church groups provide our residents with nourishing dinners each week Monday through Thursday. Residents are required to attend and upon leaving the shelter, many have shared with staff that the nightly meal is one of their favorite experiences at Grace Place. It's the first time many of them have enjoyed family dinners on a regular basis.
