Our mission is to help individuals and families get the food
they need to live happy, healthy lives.
According to the most recent data from the Nebraska Department of Education, 66 percent of Grand Island Public Schools students qualify for free or reduced meals.
We help children and adults alike receive healthy food and find freedom from the pain of hunger.
Statistics tell only part of the story. While the devastating impact of hunger isn’t always obvious at first glance, the fact is, you likely know someone who is struggling with hunger or food insecurity. We are here to help.
We welcome anyone in need who walks through our doors, including the homeless, people struggling to make ends meet and families who are trying to feed their growing children on a limited budget.
