Laughter is good for you... and good for the community too! Join The Salvation Army of Metro Detroit for the 11th annual Comedy for a Cause event; an evening of entertainment to raise money for the Bed & Bread program. A buffet dinner will be provided by Jack's Roadside BBQ.
The Bed & Bread program provides food and shelter to Metro Detroiters every single day of the year, providing more than 3,500 meals each day, and nearly 200 beds each night.
Comedian Ralph Harris has been labeled by his peers as one of today's legendary comedic talents, living the dream as a successful comedian and actor in a career that spans over 35 years and remains in full swing! You may know Ralph from films like Dreamgirls and Evan Almighty, as well as his work on Seinfeld, The Parent 'Hood, and On Our Own, plus his Comedy Central and HBO specials.
