- Royal Park Hotel is re-launching its PARK 600 Locally Crafted Pizza With A Purpose for a one-of-a kind opportunity to benefit The Salvation Army of Metro Detroit in honor of Giving Tuesday. Pizza With A Purpose orders will be taken through 11am on November 27. Pickup will occur on Tuesday, December 1 between 4-6 pm. Quantities are limited. Each Giving Tuesday Pizza Kit is $30 and includes pizza dough, sauce, cheese & pepperoni supplies to make two pizzas for a family of four. Chef Mark will be whipping up his award-winning Pumpkin Cheesecake, and families will be able to add that to their Pizza Kit order for an additional $32. - The Salvation Army will be debuting a free special on demand concert featuring Michael W. Smith on Giving Tuesday, making it the perfect night to celebrate and give back at home with the family. Donations made online through Thrivent's giving platform on Giving Tuesday will be matched up to $20,000. Get your free tickets to watch the concert here.
- The Salvation Army Eastern Michigan Division is teaming up with TCF Bank to double all red kettle donations on Giving Tuesday. All amounts, dollar-for-dollar up to $25,000, will be matched by TCF Bank. Donate now!
- We will have a media blitz on Giving Tuesday live at the Tallest Red Kettle which will include both Herman Moore and TCF Bank spokesperson Jim Robinson.
