Registration Open for The Salvation Army of Dearborn Heights Summer Day Camps
DEARBORN HEIGHTS, Mich. - Registration is open nowthrough June 17 for The Salvation Army of Dearborn Heights annual summer daycamp program.
The camp is open to children ages six to 14 and will be heldweekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Dearborn Heights Corps Community Center,26700 West Warren, from June 20 through August 5. Cost is $100 per week forfive or more weeks with a $25 registration fee.
Programs focus on helping kids build self-esteem, avoidboredom and stay active during summer break. Daily activities at the campinclude arts and crafts, music and drama, non-denominational Bible lessons, fieldtrips, educational and community events and a variety of recreational andsocial activities.
Early registration is encouraged as space is limited. Beforeand after care is also available upon request.
