The Salvation Army Feeds Detroit Residents Living Without Power
The Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services went to Colony Arms Apartments on Detroit’s east side (intersection of Jefferson and McClellen) on July 6, 2011, to provide food for 130 families who had been living without power since Saturday, July 2, 2011.
This was The Salvation Army’s second visit to the complex, where they served hot dogs, water and other snacks to the residents.
