Detroiters Can Help Earthquake and Tsunami Victims By Giving to The Salvation Army
SOUTHFIELD,Mich., — Metro Detroiters interested in helping victims of today's massiveearthquake and tsunami in Japan can do so through a donation to The SalvationArmy.
The Salvation Army has been at work in Japan since1895, operating more than 80 centers there, including two hospitals and fourChildren's homes. The nonprofithas nearly 200 officers, 3,000 members and just under 1,000 employees alreadyat work in Japan.
