The Salvation Army Seeks Angels in Need this Christmas
JCPenney joins thecharity's Angel Tree program to aid less fortunate local families
SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - The Salvation Army has teamed up with retail giantJCPenney to spread Christmas cheer to children and seniors in need through theAngel Giving Tree program.
The Angel Giving Tree program allows customers to go onlineto purchase, then donate toys, clothing and much-needed items for a needy childor senior citizen. Customers can adopt up to 10 Angels at a time in a specific city.Just search by zip code, city and state, age and gender.
The online Angel Tree runs Nov. 1 to Dec. 16. The online programbuilds on the legacy of The Salvation Army's longstanding Angel Tree program, whichhas been in operation for more than 40 years.
