Detroit Media Personalities to Ring Bells and Raise Money for The Salvation Army
Anchors and reporters and producers, oh my! More than 60 celebrities from metro Detroit television, radio, online and print media outlets will trade their microphones and notepads for bells during The Salvation Army of Metro Detroit’s 6th annual Celebrity Bell Ringer Day from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Dec. 1.
Members of the community are encouraged to visit more than 30 storefront kettles in Macomb, Oakland and Wayne counties to meet, and maybe even snap a selfie with, their favorite personality. Supporters are encouraged to ask for autographs as well, in exchange for a red kettle donation.

Donations collected through the Red Kettle Campaign benefit local families and individuals in the communities they are given.
