WHAT: The Salvation Army of Farmington Hills will help feed 100 families in need this Thanksgiving by providing food boxes via a drive-through food distribution system.
Each pre-packaged box of food contains a full, hearty Thanksgiving meal, complete with a turkey and traditional sides, as well as additional fruits, vegetables and dairy products. Each will contain enough food to provide a family of four at least two-to-three meals.
A small team of pre-screened staff/volunteers will be present to distribute the Thanksgiving meals to recipients, and all individuals will follow local health and safety guidelines, including wearing PPE such as masks and gloves.
**Note: This event is not open to the public. All families have been pre-registered for the Thanksgiving meal boxes.
