Doing the Most Good in Metro Detroit
Our neighbors come to us when they require help meeting their basic needs, like food and shelter. Our goal here at The Salvation Army, in addition to helping fill those needs, is to offer them physical, emotional and spiritual care. This holistic approach allows us to combat poverty at its roots and strengthen our community through our many programs and services.
We are pleased to share that the Metro Detroit 2022 Annual Report is now available. You can read and print the PDF here. Thanks to your unwavering support and generosity, we have assisted more than 2.4 million people in Metro Detroit.
Last year, you helped us provide:
2,140,278 meals
405,630 nights of shelter
87,991 Christmas toys and gifts to children and shut-in seniors
1,800 legal issues with resolution through the William Booth Legal Aid Clinic
We are so blessed to have support from generous friends like you. You and many others make it possible for us to offer all the programs and services to Do The Most Good for those who need us. Thank you for caring about those in need here in Metro Detroit.
