This population is often forgotten but The Salvation Army is always working to share God's love with them.

We work with adults of any background to serve their unique needs and create a place where they feel welcomed and loved. The Salvation Army is a support network to establish safety, stability, happiness, and peace for adults and seniors in need across The Heartland Division.

The Salvation Army provides
support for adults and seniors through:

Educational Guidance & Aid

We help adults struggling to overcome career qualification barriers. By coaching and connecting them to the right resources, we help them reach educational requirements, training, certifications and other prerequisites to obtain gainful employment. Additionally, we help those suffering from mental illness or substance abuse pursue the treatment and/or mediation they need to function as healthily as possible.

Employment Assistance

The Salvation Army wants nothing but success for those in our community and that is why we help get adults on the road to their career dreams. We provide resume building, interview and job placement assistance, and much more to help establish productive work for sustainable wages and happiness. With us, adults can find the strength to be proud of what they do.

Health Services

We understand the stress of unpaid bills during a medical emergency. We encourage you to check with your local service center to see if funding is currently available for medical assistance. We are sometimes able to offer help with insurance co-pays and prescription costs for seniors and adults facing medical issues.
