How Can I Sign My Child Up?

If you are in need of Christmas assistance, there are two ways to sign up: in person or online. 

Who can I sign up?

• Custodial Parents or Legal Guardians can sign up children newborn to age 12.

Am I eligible?

• In order to qualify for Angel Tree, household income must fall below 200% of the Federal Poverty Line.
• Reside in Marion County or 'donut counties' without The Salvation Army assistance.

Where can I sign up?

• Online registration: FULL
• Scheduling for In-Person registration: FULL

What to bring to your in-person appointment:

• Picture ID for ALL adults in the household
• Birth Certificates (or Medicaid card) for ALL children in the household
• Household Income (recent pay stubs, SSI letter, etc.)
• Custody documents (custody order, school record, lease, tax return, or welfare statement, etc.)

As you can imagine, it takes hundreds of volunteer hours to make Angel Tree happen.  From sorting bags to helping families on distribution day, volunteers are essential to a successful Angel Tree program. All 5,000 Angels are available for adoption online from October 2 through November 27 (Now Closed). Simply click the "Adopt Now" button below to get started. You can also find Angel Trees with QR codes taking you to our adoption site at locations across the Indy metro area.

If you are unable to shop for an Angel, cash donations help The Salvation Army provide gifts for any unadopted Angels. You can donate directly to the Angel Tree program by clicking the red "Donate Now" button below.

When adopting an Angel, you should expect to spend about $100 on gifts. We recommend adding 2-3 stocking stuffers for each Angel you adopt.  To adopt an Angel, follow the steps below.

Click the ADOPT NOW button above to visit our Angel adoption site.

Select your Angel's gender (if you have a preference) and age group and click "Continue."

Select your Angel by clicking the check box in the upper right corner of the Angel's information box. You can select up to 15 Angels from this list. Click "Continue" to go to the donor information page.

Fill out the donor information page with your contact information and click "Submit."

You will see a confirmation page. Please click the "Print Angels" button and include this printed Angel tag with your returned gifts. You will also receive an email with a link to your Angel's details and wish list.

You're now ready to shop for your Angel! You should expect to spend $100 on your Angel's gifts. We recommend adding 2-3 stocking stuffers for each Angel you adopt.

Once you have completed shopping for your Angel, you will need to return the items at one of the following locations no later than December 2nd at 2 p.m.:
