2022 Corporate Angel Tree Program

Your company can be a modern-day Santa for children in need!

Christmas is a special and joyful day in the lives of millions of people each year—but for disadvantaged families, it can be a time of stress and sadness. Unfortunately, many families with children in our community live in unfavorable circumstances, especially regarding financial or social opportunities. Christmas gifts for these children remain a dream, not a reality.

We believe every child deserves the joy of opening a gift on Christmas morning. That’s why we’re so passionate about our Angel Tree program, which provides toys, clothing, books, and additional financial support to assist families in need.

All funds received above the stated Angel Tree Corporate Sponsorship goals will be used to provide additional assistance to children and their families during the holidays and throughout the year.

How Does Angel Tree Work?

Social service agencies and schools refer families to The Salvation Army for help with Christmas. Participants are interviewed to verify that the family is truly in need. Verification is made to ensure that the family is not receiving duplicate services from another agency.

Angel tags are distributed to sponsors who shop for the child’s wish list. We recommend spending at least $100 for each Angel adopted.  Angels are adopted until mid-December when parents eagerly arrive at a designated location on distribution day to pick up gifts for their Angels. Each parent has the opportunity to wrap the donated gifts.

We encourage corporate sponsors to support the program by adopting Angels, contributing financially, or both. We also encourage corporate sponsor volunteers to shop for their Angels.

Corporate Participation Perks

•    Joy of helping others

Sponsors will be recognized on social media and at distribution sites for contributions of $1,000 or more and adoptions of 100 Angels or more. They will receive a token of appreciation and will be invited to meet The Salvation Army Divisional Commander. Each company logo will be used for prominent display. Sponsors will also be invited to the annual Festival of Trees event.
