The Congregational Partnership Program (CPP) brings together the strengths of local congregations and housing providers to prevent and end homelessness in Kent County. The combination of financial and volunteer support from local congregations, the utilization of the strength-based Housing First case-management model, along with volunteer training and support of The Salvation Army Social Services, is improving the lives of families who are experiencing homelessness.
Through the CPP, we connect the faith community with individuals and families, putting relationships at the center. All involved in this ecumenical program are quickly rehousing families at a minimal cost by providing assistance with locating housing, short-term rental assistance, and follow-up case management with the support of caring volunteers from local congregations.
The CPP utilizes volunteers to support families experiencing a housing crisis. We would love to connect with you and find ways you can work with us to prevent and end homelessness. You can also contact us for inquiries on speaking at events about homelessness in our community.
