Every single day, The Salvation Army is working tirelessly to combat hunger and make sure our neighbors in need have access to nourishing meals.

Did you know that nearly one-fifth of households in Howard County are experiencing food insecurity?

That's a concerning statistic, but the good news is that The Salvation Army is here to lend a helping hand! We offer a range of food options including fresh produce, frozen meals, and shelf-stable food that can help alleviate the burden for those in need.

How we help cure hunger

We believe that no family should ever have to go without food, and we are dedicated to meeting this basic need.

Food Pantry

We are thrilled to offer a food pantry for those in need. Thanks to the generosity of our amazing donors, we can keep our pantry fully stocked with fresh produce, frozen food, and essential items for your kitchen. Not only do these donations support our food pantry, but they also benefit other organizations that are working to help even more people in need.

Our food pantry is available for use on Thursdays and Fridays, and we warmly invite you and your family to come and take advantage of this resource.

We would like to express our gratitude to our fantastic donors, including Sam's Club, Aldi, and Panera Bread, for their continued support in making our food pantry a success.

In addition to our pantry, we also partner with other organizations, such as the Kokomo Rescue Mission and Jackson Street Commons, to ensure that even more people in our community receive the help they need.

We hope to see you at our food pantry soon and remember, you never have to face food insecurity alone. We are here to support you.
