Wal-Mart wants every Hoosier child to have toys for Christmas
The Salvation Army is here to help those in need through all walks of life. In addition to the services we offer at our Corps Community Centers, we look to generous donors and volunteers to join us in Doing The Most Good for fellow Hoosiers. The need for help has always been here, but this year, it's greater.
This holiday season, we’re partnering with Walmart stores across central Indiana to help more families in need –They have created the Registry For Good Here, an easy and convenient way to donate much-needed items to The Salvation Army of Kokomo by shopping online.
The Salvation Army of Kokomo’s Registry includes items such as toys so that we can give gifts to children who otherwise wouldn’t be able to experience the joy and excitement of Christmas morning. Our registry also includes hygiene products, gift cards for groceries, cleaning products to keep families safe during the COVID-19 pandemic, etc. All items purchased will be shipped directly to The Salvation Army of Kokomo and given to families in our community.
We’d like to thank Walmart for joining us in Doing The Most Good for fellow Hoosiers! In addition to the online Registry for Good, they support our mission to help fellow Hoosiers in need by offering Register Round-Ups in store and online, in-store Angel Tree adoptions and donation collections, and by having our iconic Red Kettles outside of their storefronts.
