Families First

We all do better when we all do better.

Pathway of Hope is rooted in the case management approach.  Rather than looking at problems, the program develops strengths to assist clients in reaching their goals.

A team is developed consisting of a client, case manager, and the community.  A case manager works intensively with a small number of families to help them achieve short and long-term goals through collaboration and accessing community resources.

Pathway of Hope helps client families by:

  • Empowering them to achieve change by recognizing their inherent strengths and skills
  • Developing an action plan that includes personal goals
  • Providing relevant Salvation Army services
  • Referring families to appropriate community resources
  • To qualify for Pathway of Hope, a family must have at least one child under the age of 18, and be ready to take steps to make long-term change
